Head Start Family Services Manager is the primary contact for parents to ensure that the needs of young children and families are addressed in the areas of, family and community engagement by working with parents to ensure children receive health and nutrition services per the requirements of the Head Start performance standards and to help determine family goals, assess needs and access services in the community through periodic home visits. Hiring Requirements:

  • 18 years of age 
  • family and community partnership services must be supported by staff or consultants with training and experience in field(s) related to social, human, or family services
  • within eighteen months of hire, at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field
