An ECEAP Assistant Teacher demonstrates competency to implement program activities under the direction of a Lead Teacher. An assistant Teacher must provide developmentally appropriate early childhood education and ensure a safe learning environment for all ECEAP hours regardless of the model type (Part-Day, Full School Day or Extended Day). Requirements:

Must meet one of the following qualifications:

  • obtain 12 college quarter credits in ECE or obtain a WA State Initial Certificate or higher (Upon hire, or may have a  PD Plan)
