An ECEAP Assistant Teacher demonstrates competency to implement program activities under the direction of a Lead Teacher. Requirements:

Must meet one of the following qualifications:

  • must be employed in the same agency before July 1, 1999 or
  • obtain 12 college quarter credits in ECE or
  • obtain a WA State Initial Certificate or higher or
  • obtain a current Child Development Associates (CDA) credential
